COURSE OVERVIEW
Course Cost: $140 (per person)
At Front Sight Tactical, our Texas LTC course is designed to prepare you to legally and responsibly carry a handgun in the state of Texas. Whether you're just getting started or want to solidify your knowledge, this class covers everything you need to meet state requirements-and helps you walk away with confidence.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN:
- Texas handgun laws and legal carry requirements
- Use of force and deadly force - what the law says
- Prohibited locations and gun-free zones
- Handgun safety, storage, and responsible carry
- Conflict avoidance and non-violent dispute resolution
- Basic shooting fundamentals and range qualification prep
- Situational awareness and mindset for real-world carry
CLass details:
- Classroom Time: 4-5 hours
- Range Instruction: 1.5-2 hours (live-fire qualification included)

What to bring:
• Firearm: A reliable and working handgun
• Ammunition: Minimum 50 rounds of ammo (bring 100 in case a reshoot is needed)
• Safety Gear: Eye and ear protection (rentals available)
• Proper Attire: Closed-toe shoes and clothing suitable for dynamic movement
• Additional Items: Driver's license or state-issued ID

- LTC-104 Certificate of Training (required by Texas DPS)

AFTER CLASS - NEXT STEPS:
1. Submit your application on the Texas DPS LTC Portal
2. Schedule fingerprinting through IdentoGO
3. Pay the $40 state fee (discounts for military/veterans/seniors)
4. Upload your LTC-104 Certificate to the DPS portal
